Personal Financial Services (PFS) - General Banking


Within Personal Financial Services (PFS), the General Banking Team is responsible for the management and development of products, prioritization of product focus, profitability and portfolio management, and new development or enhancement of core banking products, including cards and consumer assets, mortgages, deposits and general banking services in Hong Kong. We are now seeking a high-caliber business analysis professional in joining the Cards and Consumer Assets Team as Assistant Manager Cards and Consumer Assets.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting to Financial Control Manager with the Cards and Consumer Assets Team, you will:

  • Develop and maintain an efficient database to support the preparation of regular management information (MI) / returns and business analysis
  • Produce timely management accounts and key business performance statistics to facilitate business monitoring, reviewing and planning by senior management
  • Assist in planning and organizing the annual operating plan for the business
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements, data integrity and controls
  • Identify possible opportunities on MI or reporting process enhancements

Requirements

  • University degree holder in accounting or business administration with a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience, preferably within the banking industry
  • A good understanding of the banking business is preferred, and strong business acumen is required
  • Able to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management, analytical and numerical skills as well as good knowledge of PC software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Access
