Global Markets Operations


Global Markets Operations, which provides operational support to Global Banking and Markets division, is the largest dealing room in Asia outside Japan. Continual growth in trading volumes and market presence is matched by a dynamic increase in the range of products traded. Normal daily activity in this role will involve taking quick decisions to solve operational irregularities and using your own initiative and professional judgement in deciding how best to solve the issue.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure the daily processing activities are in full compliance with internal and external rules and regulations as well as ensure high level of customer service to internal and external clients
  • Identify opportunities and weaknesses of the daily operational workflow to ensure effective processing and settlements of corporate, interbank, and/or e-treasury transactions to maximise profitability, control of operational risks and enhance customer service delivery within agreed operating guidelines
  • Lead and implement strategic projects and streamlining/analyses of operational procedures to achieve efficient operations

Requirements

  • University degree holder with a minimum of seven years' direct treasury foreign exchange/money market operations experience with full end to end processing, systems and business knowledge
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resilient with good analytical skills, a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Good Project Management experience and skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Applicants with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position
