Global Banking and Markets

Global Markets Operations, which provides operational support to Global Banking and Markets division, is the largest dealing room in Asia outside Japan. Structured Products Team specialises in supporting all type of derivatives and structured transactions, ranging from traditional derivatives like Interest Rate Swaps and Options, to tailor-made structured tax deals, to various new market initiatives such as Structured Credit Products, Collateral Management

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to perform settlement operations of Collateral Management with focus on operational efficiency, accuracy and client services to ensure maximum contribution to the business through credit risk mitigation
• Monitor workflow and liaise with local and overseas counterparties to agree on the details and settlement of collateral demands
• Liaise with other internal departments for trades upload into collateral system and preparation of management reports
• Perform deal portfolio reconciliation and arrange payment instructions for settlement of cash and securities collaterals
• Ensure accuracy of interest accrual and funding requirement for daily movements of cash collateral
• Assist in ad hoc or system implementation projects

Requirements

• Tertiary educated or above
• At least three years' experience in collateral operations or treasury operations
• Good knowledge of treasury products and documentation standards
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Sound PC skills including MS Word and Excel
