HSBC's Receivable Finance Division (RFN) offers a range of domestic and international receivable finance solutions including buyer credit protection, finance, collection and assistance with ledger management solutions to support our customers' open account trade. We are currently looking for a sales-oriented and self-motivated executive to join the RFN team as Vice President.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, RFN, you will be responsible for supporting the development of a profitable receivable finance business unit to build up HSBC's market share and leadership position in the industry. You will:

  • Manage and grow our receivable finance portfolio, and sell receivable finance services as a complement to existing general banking facilities
  • Structure tailor-made solutions to meet customers' open account needs
  • Analyse and recommend credit proposals on receivable finance facilities, and review facilities to balance risk and reward
  • Work in conjunction with Mid-Market/Global Banking and Markets frontline executives to ensure the relationship management strategies are aligned
  • Monitor account performance and review facilities promptly to ensure compliance with credit policies and relevant internal/external requirements
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and colleagues in the Mid-Market/ Global Banking and Markets to identify cross-selling opportunities

Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least two years' relationship management experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking
  • Extensive knowledge of trade products, both on the import and export side
  • Knowledge of factoring and various open account products is a distinct advantage
  • Good written and spoken English and Cantonese are essential; fluency in Putonghua is a plus
