HSBC's Business growth in Commercial Banking (CMB) has been tremendous globally, regionally in Asia and locally in Hong Kong over the past few years. It is crucial for CMB to continue to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in the mid market segment whilst building our Small Business franchise across Asia-Pacific (ASP), as part of the Best Bank for Small Business strategy. The Channel team is responsible for the development and implementation of CMB's channel strategy (Internet, Phone Self-Service and Physical channels) across the ASP region. The channel strategies are expected to drive customer acquisition, increase revenues by cross-selling products and drive down costs by encouraging use of direct channels for both sales and service. We are now seeking an experienced individual with a background in channel management, particularly the internet, to play a critical role in achieving this change.
Reporting to Senior Manager Channel Sales, the job-holder leads a team that leverages e-Channel platforms for bottom line benefits. The job holder is tasked with achieving aggressive e-revenue targets and is expected to develop the channel strategy and implement various initiatives/campaigns to achieve these. Acting as ASP CMB's business representative on internet banking development, the job holder drives development and commercialization of Business Internet Banking (B2G)/HSBCnet and has overall responsibility for the success of the internet as a distribution channel for business customers across ASP.
