Wealth Management and Support Team is now inviting applications from suitable individuals for the position of Wealth Management Services and Support Officer.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Wealth Management Services and Support, you will assist in providing after-sales service and implementing existing and new wealth management products within Commercial Banking to meet customers' investment needs. You will:

  • Assist managers in implementing existing and new wealth management product initiatives, and provide daily operational support for various securities processing systems and sales trading platforms
  • Support the Commercial Banking Compliance Team in monitoring irregular investment trades and ensure that all transactions are in full adherence to Group standards, manuals and regulatory guidelines
  • Handle deal executions and provide after-sales services support to the frontline and our customers
  • Prepare sales performance management reporting for wealth management sales activities, and prepare pricing information for posting onto our intranet within the required timeframe
  • Provide support during the implementation of promotional campaigns and ad hoc projects, and contribute to ensuring that the highest standard of services are delivered to internal and external customers
  • Liaise with various departments to resolve operational issues in various securities processing systems and sales trading platforms
  • Support systems upgrades and testing to ensure system reliability
  • Monitor daily ledger balance updates and ensure that all transactions are reconciled

Requirements

  • At least three years' experience in wealth management products and services, including equities, bonds, unit trust, structured products and financial markets
  • HKSI qualification or equivalent is required
  • Good understanding of local and overseas regulations/ordinances relating to regulated wealth management products
  • Sound knowledge of various banking systems
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal sensitivity
  • Able to meet tight timelines and work under pressure
