Commercial Banking (CMB) provides a comprehensive range of products and services to our commercial banking customers through a variety of delivery channels. To accommodate upcoming expansion, we are now looking for energetic and sales-oriented individuals to join our team.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President Commercial Banking Customer Growth Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), your key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Act as the ambassador of HSBC and provide professional advice to customer
  • Identify customer-centric solutions by working closely with colleagues in different teams, including SME Centre team, SME Relationship Management team, Direct Financial Services, CMB, Trade Services, etc
  • Approach potential customers and gain deeper understanding on their business through Business Review
  • Cross-sell appropriate Bank products proactively to meet their requirements and maximise positive returns from designated target customers
  • Identify and pursue additional business opportunities, including customer referrals and untapped needs of existing customers
  • Build amicable relationships with customers and provide efficient, customer-friendly and high quality professional service
  • Conduct risk analysis on new customers and recommend credit proposals within allowed parameters and criteria

Requirements

  • University graduate with a degree in business, finance or a related discipline and 2 to 3 years' commercial bank experience; or completed Form 7 with five years' relevant experience
  • Confident to deal with a wide range of customers from different backgrounds and at different levels
  • Relevant professional qualifications in insurance and investment and knowledge of commercial credit assessment are preferred
  • Energetic with strong analytical, selling, negotiation and customer relationship skills
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
