Commercial Banking SME Team provides sales and services to business customers through a variety of delivery channels encompassing the branch network, call centres, internet, phone and self-service terminals. We are now inviting energetic and sales-oriented individuals to join our sales force as Assistant Manager SME Centre.

Key Responsibilities


Reporting directly to the Vice President SME Centre, you will:

  • Act as a company account expert and the key interface between the Bank and the business clients
  • Aggressively acquire new business customers to increase our market share
  • Promote/sell packaged SME products to business customer to increase our share of customers' wallets
  • Provide professional and high quality customer service to existing and walk-in business customers
  • Develop relationships with business customers through outreach activities
  • Actively make suitable leads to SME relationship teams, Trade Services, Personal Financial Services, and other business units
  • Identify service improvement initiatives to improve service quality and enhance the Bank's image

Requirements

  • University graduate with a degree in business, finance or a related discipline and one to two years' work experience; or completed Form Seven with a minimum of three years' sales and service experience in banking
  • 1 - 2 years' sales and service experience in the banking, finance and insurance industry and knowledge of business banking products
  • Professional qualifications in insurance and investment would be advantageous
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and customer relationship skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
  • Sound communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
