ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT HIRE PURCHASE AND LEASING

Commercial Banking


Hire Purchase and Leasing (HPL) of Commercial Banking Small and Medium Enterprises specialises in providing HP finance on taxi and public light bus licences. To cope with the focused strategy to grow SME assets, HPL will expand its product range to cover machinery and equipment financing to the SME customer segment. We are now inviting experienced professionals to join our team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop potential customers for relationship management, business development and cross selling to achieve business targets and maximise profitability
  • Establish new business relationships with suppliers and dealers to increase business referrals
  • Manage and maximise sales and relationship development activities with machinery end-users
  • Protect the Bank's interest by maintaining credit quality, including performing credit evaluations, recommendations, and facility reviews on the equipment HPL portfolio

Requirements

  • University graduate with at least three years' relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in equipment financing and good knowledge about the market/industry activities
  • Sound credit and accounting knowledge with strong marketing and selling skills
  • An excellent communicator with solid interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Flexible and sensitive to market/industry changes
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Willing to travel to China when required and knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
